Meet Blue Jay! We just can't say enough great things about Blue Jay! He is a gorgeous Seal Point Siamese with an awesome personality to go along with his good looks. He is extremely affectionate - he loves to be pet and cuddled. If you're not paying enough attention to him he will tell you! He's quite chatty, as Siamese are known for. He gets along very well with the other cats, dogs, and kids that he has been fostered with. He will make a wonderful addition to any home!

This cat is about 2.5 years old, is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $200

Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care!

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
