Meet Midge! They just don't come any friendlier than this one! (Don't believe us - check out her video links below!) We just love Midge, and we know you will too! She is the first to greet you at the door and all she wants is love and attention - she will jump right onto your lap and snuggle your face, give you head butts, and cuddle on your lap. She is a beautiful tortie who is just sweet as can be. She is outgoing and loves to meet new people and be the center of attention. She enjoys playing, especially with her kitten friends and with her toys (the wand toys are her favorite). She also enjoys being pet, held and cuddled. What more could you ask for in a kitten!
This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
