When we rescued Happy from the Rockbridge SPCA in VA she was a brand new mother with 7 pups.  They were out of time and the shelter begged us to take them as she was the shelter favorite.  We were going to change her name thinking "Happy" just wasn't a good name but once we met her it we realized it sure did fit.  Happy is a sweetheart.  The tail never stops wagging and she even smiles for you.  She must have been someone's dog at one time as she knows some basic commands and she is housebroken.  She gets along with other dogs wonderfully.  Her pups will be six weeks old November 21st so it is time for Happy to find a home of her own.  She cannot be altered until late December due to giving birth to the pups so she will be adopted out on a spay contract.
