Maine Coon / Dilute Tortoiseshell (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young
Meet Verdana! This gorgeous girl very nearly did not survive when she was given a dose of flea medication that was meant for dogs. She was brought to the shelter with her kitten - both were experiencing seizures, and the owner could not afford a vet bill. Both her and her kitten pulled through thankfully! Her kitten was adopted right away at the shelter, and we took her into our program. Verdana is the ultimate lap cat. The instant anyone sits down, she instantly jumps on their lap and will stay there for as long as you let her. She would be a wonderful therapy cat. She is so affectionate and sweet, and purrs and purrs, and just wants all the love. She has long fluffy hair which is super soft, and all she wants is to be petted. She is wonderful with all the other animals as well. We truly cannot say enough great things about this girl. She is super special, one of a kind, and you'll be hard pressed to find a more affectionate cat!! This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
