Meet French Onion! They just don't come more beautiful and stunning than this little girl. She has long luxurious hair and piercing blue eyes. Her fur feels like you're petting a cloud! She has a sweet personality to go along with her good looks. She enjoys being pet and loved, and gets along really great with all the other cats and kittens she's been fostered with. She's earned the nickname "Spare-Rib" because she has an extra rib on one side! When we picked her up, we could feel that something seemed different, so we took her to the vet for x-rays, where they discovered she has an extra rib! It's nothing bad, just makes her extra special. This cat is altered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
