Meet BBQ Sauce! This extra special, extra fluffy guy is really an amazing cat. He came to DPR along with his sibling (Sweet 'n Sour) when their owner could no longer care for them. He is such a snuggle bug and loves nothing more than to relax cuddled on your lap. He was so in touch with his last owner that he was actually able to alert her as to when she was about to have a seizure. What an incredible cat. He's looking for another loving family that he can connect with. He has super thick, long, fluffy hair that will need to be brushed regularly and groomed to keep him comfortable. He gets along really well with other cats and kittens and has lived with many. He is about 11 months old and is a quiet cat who is still trying to understand all the changes that have happened to his life in these past few weeks. He will take a little bit of time to come out of his shell and show you his true personality, he would benefit from a quiet home with someone who will be understanding that he'll take a little while to adjust. He does not have a mean bone in his body and is comfortable with being picked up, pet, and cuddled. We love him, and we know you will too. 

This cat is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
