Meet Roy Rogers and Burger King! These two adorable piggies are a grandfather/grandson pair. Grandpa, Roy Rogers, is about a year and a half old and has SUPER long hair! He was just groomed at the vet and they shaved off all his mats and feathered out his long locks. He will definitely need to be brushed and trimmed regularly to prevent him from getting matted again. He was very agreeable for his haircut, and he enjoys being brushed. He is so soft! He's being housed with son (Jimmy John) and his two grandkids (Jersey Mike and Burger King). All 4 of them get along great. We are hoping to adopt them out in pairs. Burger King has smooth, maintenance free hair and a sweet personality. Both of them are very friendly and affectionate and enjoy being held. They would be a great choice for a family with children, since they have grown up with kids and are very comfortable being held and pet. They were surrendered to DPR along with 8 females, due to unwanted litters. They are larger boys - Roy weighs 1344 grams, and Burger King 1086 grams. 

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
