Meet Mike and Ike! These two brothers are just as sweet as can be! They are about a year old and were surrendered to DPR when their owners could no longer care for them. They are wonderful with kids and enjoy being pet and held by the kiddos at their foster home. They are on the smaller side, weighing in at 944 grams (Mike) and 856 pounds (Ike). Compared to some of the larger piggies we currently have who are 1400 grams, these boys look like babies! They are very chatty and get so excited when they hear us making salads for them - they run around and squeal in anticipation. They were super agreeable with getting dressed up for their photo shoot, and were wonderful at their vet appointment even while getting their nails cut! They will make a fun addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
