Meet Tetra! Seriously, how stunnig is this girl? Tetra is a striking calico with long fluffy hair that is soft as a rabbit. She has a sweet, calm personality to go along with her good looks. She loves to be pet, and chin scritches are her favorite. She is about 7 months old and we'd guess that she's going to be a fairly sizeable cat. She gets along really great with all the other cats and kittens she's being fostered with. She is gentle and has a very chill, regal personality. Most of the time she's laid back, but when the urge hits her she will play forever! We think she's pretty amazing and we know you will too!
This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv.

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
