Meet Lucius & Commodus! They were surrendered to DPR when their owner could no longer care for them. They are both super adorable and very sweet and friendly! Lucius is a tiny little guy with fluffy grey hair that sticks out in every direction. He is very interested in what you're doing, and when we clean his cage he is always coming over to "help" and walk across our hands and sniff around. He likes to be involved! Commodus is tri colored and also has cowlicks giving him perpetual bed head. He has a smiliar personality to Lucius in that he is very friendly and interested in "helping" and runs to the front of the cage and stands up on his hind legs to see what's going on. They like having room to run around and play. They are young and still very playful and active. They are both affectionate and enjoy being held and cuddled. They love when it's time for daily fruits and veggies and will squeak with delight! They are both very good with the kiddos at their foster home.

 All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
