Meet Macrinus! He is a sweet guinea pig who was surrendered to DPR because his owner was allergic. He's very comfortable being held and will happily cuddle on your lap for as long as you'd like him to! He has really beautiful coloring, and his hair is medium length. He loves when it's time for his daily salads. Guinea pigs do well in pairs, and this little guy would probably love to have a piggie buddy at his new home.

 All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
