Meet Bagel, Biscuit & Flour! These 3 little kittens were rescued with their mama (Crinkle) from a shelter in North Carolina. These babies have grown up in a foster home and have known nothing but love and kindness their entire lives. They are only 2 months old and barely weigh 2 pounds and spend most of their time snuggling with each other or with their human friends. They like to lay in a kitten pile all on top of each other. They love the kids at their foster home and are constantly being carried around and snuggled. They all have very long fuzzy hair that is very soft. They are still nursing and will be ready for adoption in a couple weeks (probably starting around June 22nd). They are such sweet babies, we are in love with them and we know you will be too!

Since these little ones are obviously too small to be spayed/neutered right now, they'll be available via a "Foster-To-Adopt" agreement, meaning you can "foster" them for now, and then when they're old enough you'd be agreeing to have them spayed/neutered at either your vet or clinic, and at that time the adoption would be made official.
This cat up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
