Meet Clarence! Clarence and Ralph found themselves at DPR because their owners got a new puppy and decided to surrender their guinea pigs to a shelter. They are very sweet and friendly guinea pigs who currently live in cages next to each other (they can be adopted out separately). They enjoy being pet and held and are very gentle and easy to handle. They were very cooperative during their nail trims at their vet check up. They are great with the kids at their foster home! They love when it's time for their fresh salads - so far we have not found a fruit or veggie they do not devour! Clarence likes to sprawl out and stretch his back legs out when he naps, it's very adorable! 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
