Meet Edamame & Wasabi! Can you believe that a summer camp raffled off these two sweet boys at the end of their camp?! The parents were not prepared or interested in taking care of guinea pigs and they immediately ended up at Delaware Pet Rescue. They are both very friendly and very sweet guinea pigs. They saw our vet and received a clean bill of health as well as a nail trim. They are very comfortable being held and pet and are great with kids. They are less than a year old and are very bonded, so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
