Meet Night Eyes! His mom was rescued off the streets as a pregnant stray and gave birth in a loving home. He's known nothing but love and comfort his whole life, and now he is ready for a home of his very own! Night Eyes is a very affectionate kitty. He warms up quickly and demands pets and scratches whenever he can get them! He loves sitting in windows watching the birds. He gets along great with the other adult cats at his foster home, and he sure does want to be friends with all the cats he meets. This all black, 4 month old kitten will be a great addition to your family!
Night Eyes and his siblings (Jean-Claude Van Damme and Pickles) are scheduled to be spayed/neutered on Nov 4. They can be adopted before that on a foster-to-adopt agreement and DPR will pay for all vetting.

This cat will have all necessary vetting done including spay/neuter, FIV/FELV testing, distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, deworming, flea tick preventative.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $200

Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care!

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
