Meet Laszlo & Nandor! They are 8 week old baby guinea pigs who came to DPR because their owners had bought 2 guinea pigs from a pet store and were told they were both boys - turns out one was actually a girl and they had babies. They are ready for adoption now and are very sweet and friendly! They will run right up to you to see what you're up to, and they're always looking for treats and veggies! They are very active and playful! They have an oversized cage with two levels, and they love running up to the second level and hopping up on top of the hidey houses to survey the area. Nandor has longer hair with the cutest little soft whispy tail feathers! He's an Abyssinian guinea pig, meaning he has rosettes or cowlicks that makes his hair stick out in all directions. Laszlo has sleek shiny hair with cute color pattern. They get along great with everyone they meet. They are very bonded, so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. They will make a wonderful addition to your family!

 All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
