Meet Paper and Scissors! These XL piggies were surrendered to DPR when their family could no longer care for them. They are very gentle and are wonderful with the children at their foster home! They are under 2 years old and are very sweet, friendly and social! They let you pick them right up and enjoy snuggling on your lap. Scissors is an Abyssinian guinea pig which means he has cowlicks and longer fluffy hair. Paper is a smooth hair and very soft. They enjoy their daily salads! These two piggies are bonded, so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. These sweeties will make a wonderful addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption.

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!
