Meet Huntrix! This strikingly beautiful kitten will follow you around like  a puppy and wants to be involved in everything you are doing. We are told she's 6 months old, but she's very tiny and looks more like 3-4 months old to us. She loves to be pet and held and she is extremely playful! She does not have a shy bone in her body. She's great with other cats and dogs too! You can typically find her playing with her toys (the wand toys are her favorite) or with her kitten friends, or climbing up someone's leg to sit on their lap or be held. She is super soft and has long fluffy hair that will need to be brushed regularly to keep from getting matted. She acts like a teething puppy and likes to give love-nibbles, which has earned her the nickname "Nibbler" so older kids might be a better match for this playful gal.

This cat is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
