Miley was turned into a VA shelter when she was pregnant and ready to give birth.  Because shelters cannot take care of newborn pups and their mothers they contacted DPR to see if we had room.  Miley arrived in mid March and had four beautiful pups April 1st.  The pups will be six weeks old in mid May which is when Miley will be ready for a home of her own.  She is a wonderful, sweet girl.  Gentle and happy.  When she is particularly happy she smiles at you.  She is learning leash manners and doing well with it.  She is completely housebroken.  Due having the pups April 1st she must wait until the end of June before being spayed.  Her spaying is sponsored and covered by the Lost and Found Dog Rescue "De-Sex in the City" program at the Stanton, DE SPCA.
