Brody is a mix of a Spaniel and Newfoundland. At least that's our best guess now that he is with us and we have had a chance to observe him.   
He was dropped off on a road in North Carolina and left to be on his own.  Thankfully he was picked up by a family who found him wandering and turned over to the local shelter.  We have moved Brody to a temporary foster home in NC waiting for transport up to Delaware. 
Our boy is very easy going, gets along well with all sizes of dogs, is very gentle with older children and has no interest in cats.  He is not enjoying the heat down in NC.
