Berk and his sister Brea were rescues from a backyard breeder who had no concerns about their dog having puppies with no one to care for them.  They were left in the backyard, free to run in the fields.  Thankfully a neighbor rescued them and contacted DPR.  They are adorable pups.  Their parents are in the 25 lb range - your all American mutts.  Our best guess is that they have some Spaniel with some Beagle in them with lots of other dabbles of breeds.  Berk was the more timid pup but has gotten past that now.  He can't turn away from a game of find the toy or bite the toes.
