This great dog was found as a stray. He is presently at Somerset County Dog Control in Westover,MD which is way down the MD Eastern Shore. This is a HIGH KILL county facility, we don't have a humane society down here. He was caught running with another dog, both intact males that get along great. Both boys will be neutered prior to adoption. He is very, very friendly. No one has claimed him so he's available. I am just a volunteer trying to place adoptable dogs and giving them a chance. They have few adoptions down here. Dog Control has been great about keeping dogs longer than they had before because we are able to get them out and keep the place from overcrowding. They ONLY have to hold strays for 7 days and owner surrenders for 48 hours. They are holding them longer while we work frantically trying to place them someplace safe. All dogs have a current rabies vaccine, but that's all the county requires. I pay for that and will buy distemper/parvo and give them that vaccine too. I will also help with transport!
