Hi! I'm Cody, and as you can see from my pictures, I’m a strikingly handsome adorable hunk if a guy about 1 ½ years old and I weigh 55 pounds. I am a perfect mix of Collie and Shepherd. Why you couldn’t get a better combination - sweet and loyal, and, I keep an eye out for my master(s).
I was very sad in my previous life: alone on the chain in the cold with no friends; and the children were mean to me. All I have wanted for so long was someone to love me, kiss me goodnight and tell me what a good doggie I am. I was rescued from my chain by my foster Mom, Virginia
She has improved my quality of life and treats me like a member of the family. She agreed to take care of me until we found a permanent home. I have a lot to offer. I’m neutered, house trained and up-to-date on my shots. Fetch a ball for a treat; give my paw for a treat. I like other dogs, as long as they are not aggressive. Although I am gentle, older children would be better in case I accidentally jump up. I don’t know about cats. I am working on “stay” and “leash walk”. I’m a kind of quiet guy - don’t bark unless it’s necessary, but I am always on the lookout in case it is necessary.
