Dori was taken from a puppy mill that was closed down by the Agricultural Dept back in November.  At the time she was pregnant and turned over to us.  She had her adorable 3 pups in late November who are going to homes of their own and we now want Dori to have her own family.  She is amazing for a girl who spent her first three years in a cage.  She is friendly and perky.  She enjoys the company of other dogs but her priority to follow her foster mom around the house.  She has found the joy of toys and will carry a stuffed animal around with her.  She is doing well with housetraining but still has some accidents so we'll continue to work on that with her.  She is learning how to walk on the leash and is doing well.  Because she had puppies in late November she cannot be spayed until March.  We will cover her spaying costs to be done at the Delaware SPCA in Stanton, DE.  If you would like to meet Dori please submit an adoption application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms  Adoption Fee:  $275.00
