12/8/07 Updated: Maybelline has arrived safe and sound and is doing wonderfully. She is as sweet as they told us she was and is initiating play with her foster siblings. Her neck is healing nicely and we expect that once she is done her antibiotics she will be fully recovered.

Maybelline was brought into the Newberry, SC animal control with an embedded collar. DPR will be taking her into our care for treatment. Once she has recovered she will be available for adoption. Maybelline is starting to blossom into a loving sweet little girl. We believe she is in the 5 to 6 months old range and will be a medium sized girl when full grown. Her neck has extensive damage but she will have a full recovery. If you are interested in adopting Maybelline please submit an adoption application.
