Fern is a two year old Beagle/Feist at approx 35lbs. Fern is being rehomed due to a new baby. Her owners do not have the time now for her so we are looking for a great home for her. She a loving and affectionate dog.. She loves human companionship. She loves to play and run. She would do great in a home with older children. The few dogs she has been in contact with, she has played with and gotten along fine. She is spayed and microchipped and housebroken as well. I regret to inform you that we would like to surrender our dog Fern (aka Jenny) she was one of Ashleys puppies. We adopted her in late Oct 2009. We would like to surrender her because we have a 9month old son. We have tried for a long time to make this work. Hes just crawling now she Fern has scatched him, and knocked him down. Since he is not even walking yet we think it will just get worse. Due to our very small house keeping them seperate is not fair to Fern and not fair to my son. We also feel as if we no longer have the time to give her that she deserves. Fern is a great loving and affectiate dog, knows multiple commands, and is house trained perfectly, without an accident since Dec 2009. She has just turned 2, up to date with her shots, and per your contract has been fixed. We really want her to go to a great home. I understand that you hate to see when this happens and I also hate to write this. The contract I signed said to inform you if we no longer wanted to keep Fern.
