Hi everyone!  My name is Frankie, and I am a purebred long haired Dachshund.  I have a beautiful coat and BRIGHT blue eyes!!  I am 3 years old, and I spent my whole life in a very loving home where I was well cared for.  Very sadly, my owner passed away recently, so now I am looking for a new home to call my own. 

If you are looking for a lap dog, then I am your guy!  I will sit on your lap ALL day and cuddle.  I am a very affectionate little guy.  I also enjoy car rides and going for walks - I walk perfectly on a leash!  I am also completely housebroken!!!  My favorite toys are tennis balls, and my favorite game is fetch. I am very well behaved, and I never chew on anything I'm not supposed to or get into any trouble. 

When I was a puppy, I was involved in an accident where I got hit by a car- I ended up losing my back left leg, but don't feel bad for me because I am just fine!  I can get around just as well as I could before the accident!  A lot of people don't even notice that I'm missing a leg because I can walk and run so well!  I can even run up and down the stairs and jump on your lap.  Check out the YouTube video below of me playing fetch with my tennis ball!
