Webster came to us from a NC shelter where he was found out on a street with a horrific slash across his back end.  Because the shelter does not have vet care they were anxious to find a rescue for him.  At the same time we found out that Duke, Daisy's puppy, who we thought would need surgery had improved, so we decided to take in Webster whose injury was becoming infected. 

Webster arrived and was taken straight to the vets who advised he had to have the surgery within the next week and needed to be put on antibiotics and gain some weight to get through it all.  His foster parents took great care of him, he had his surgery and has since been adopted by a family who loves him dearly. 

We thank everyone for their concern and prayers for Webster.  He was one of those pups who stole many a hearts.
