In the spring I rescued an 8 yr old male beagle from going to the SPCA when his owner lost his home. He has been a great addition to our family (good with our other dog, kids and housebroken). I am a teacher and will be going back to school in September. With my and my kids schedules I don't think it will be fair to keep Benji locked up.
He loves companionship and would be great with a retiree, homemaker, or part-timer.  He is altered, up to date on vaccinations, housetrained and trust worthy in the house.
