If you are looking for 20 lbs. of pure love, energy, personality and companionship, then Barney is the dog for you!  Spunky Barney was rescued from a VA kill shelter and all he wants in life is to be your best friend.  He is a happy boy who will always be nearby and is most content while sitting in your lap.  He is quite a character and will make you giggle!  Barney has a beautiful soft coat, with a very unique brown undercoat.  He loves other dogs, especially his foster brother and sister, and he also loves tennis balls!  Barney has been neutered, is house-trained and up-to-date with his vaccines.

8/23/12 Update:  Barney's foster mom took him to a rehab center to visit her mother.  Barney was great in the car and in the center itself.  Everyone loved him and he loved them.  He would make a great therapy dog.  He was right at home with all of the wheelchairs and people cooing at him.  He even took a rest on his foster grandmom's bed!
