Shep is a 12 mos old, male Australian Shepherd. Shep was rescued from a home with close to 70 other dogs. He is very affectionate with men, women & children. Since he loves attention, he tends to try to be dominant with other dogs if the other dog(s) cut in on his people time. This is common behavior from a dog who has come from a hoarding situation. He is quickly learning basic commands and house manners. Shep is starting heartworm treatment which is fully sponsored. He is altered and current on all vaccinations. We would love to find an adopter or temporary foster home that would be able to offer Shep a home to recover during his HW treatment.
