Heidi and her siblings were rescued from a farm in Lancaster, where they were being kept in a cow barn. The owners were hoping to make some money off the puppies, but thankfully realized that the puppies were not doing well living in a stall and contacted DPR. We brought the pups into our foster home in Landenberg, where they had a wonderful time playing in the sun and finally experiencing grass. They were thrilled to learn about puppy toys, sleeping inside a house, eating good food, all their vetting & vaccinations. Heidi is the last of her 3 siblings available for adoption. But I think we left the best for last. Heidi is such a good girl, who now enjoys all the love and attention she can get. But she doesn't beg for your attention. She's just as happy to lay near your feet when you are otherwise busy. She has quite an expressive personality, and loves playing with her foster siblings (both big and small), and has learned to respect the ones who don't feel like playing. Heidi is crate trained, and is learning her house manners. and has learned how to use the doggie door already. Her coat is as soft as can be, and will be in the short to mid length. She's a smart and extremely affection girl, who loves both people & other dogs. If you are interested in Heidi please submit an application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms. Adoption Donation $275.00 plus $50.00 refundable altering deposit. More about HeidiGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
