This is Maggie May who is a petite (35-40 lb range) two year old. We suspect Maggie had some abuse in her past. She does take some time to trust you but once she knows you she will be your best friend for life. She has become a good friend of mine. Always by my side, tail wagging constantly. She wants to become friends with everyone she meets but there is fear at first, maybe from bad memories, but you see in her eyes how badly she wants to show you how sweet she really is. She is looking for a lifetime best friend. Could you be the one to show Maggie May that there is lots of love out there for her? She is a great listener and will keep any secrets you tell her.

She is microchipped and housetrained.
She gets along wonderfully with dogs her size or larger but does not do well with smaller dogs or cats. Maggie came to us as a pregnant turn-in from the Georgetown SPCA. She had five beautiful puppies who have since been adopted. We need to find a forever home or foster home so we can make room for another new mother and pups that are waiting in a shelter to be saved.
