Th is a courtesy posting for Taco. The only reason for him needing a new home is a new person in the house who has very bad cat allergies.
He will talk to you when hungry and has funny little throaty noises and head gestures to communicate, (he can say "MOM") but is generally quiet. He loves company and to be in the same room with his people as an observer. He enjoys being petted but is not a cat that insists on being on your lap or ontop of you. Taco does not bite or scratch, is not destructive in the house. Taco does not typically get up on tables or kitchen counters. Generally, he stays on the floor and has never broken any dishes or knickknacks. He likes to sleep on or under my bed and has a favorite chair in the living room. He does not bring dead critters home. He would be a great company for someone who doesn't want to be constantly tending to a cat, but enjoys a companion in the house.Taco is a 10 year old healthy, neutered male who has lived primarily indoors. He likes to go out in nice weather but stays close to home and will follow his person around on walks in the yard. He likes quiet dogs and was very attached to a previous dog in the home. Since he hasn't lived with other cats we're not sure how he would do but he is easy going.
