Learn more about the Shih Tzu.
Missy and her four siblings were rescued from a family that had found their mother under their porch after giving birth to them. When they came into our care they had severe skin infections and two of the pups (Missy and Mitus) have front leg deformities. All have been vetted over the past months and now fully recovered from their skin infections and ready to go to their forever homes. Maxwell is the leader of the litter. Missy has the most severe front leg deformity but it doesn't stop her from keeping up with her siblings or getting around. Due to her mother's poor nutrition and lack of vetting when she was first born she gets around walking on the entire length of her front legs versus walking on her paws. This will have no effect on her long term but she will not be a dog if you are looking for a walking buddy. She will be just fine with a home that is low key who prefers a lap dog. She gets along just fine running around the house and wrestling with her siblings but she tends to hang back after awhile knowing they have some advantage on her. If you would like to be considered for adopting Missy please submit an adoption application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms Adoption Donation: $275.00 plus refundable $50.00 altering deposit.
