6/24 Update: Andy was adopted out this past weekend but now needs to be returned because his adopter is allergic to him. We had no idea there was any possibility of allergy reactions or we would have more thoroughly worked with them before doing the adoption. So - Andy is returning to his foster home and is now again looking for his forever home: Andy and Barney were rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. We believe they are brothers, who were dropped off together and left in someone's yard. We really don't know what kind of a mix Andy is. He is very petite, and at 11 pounds, almost resembles a mini-deer. He has small paws and thin legs and runs like a little gazelle. He has perky ears and a shepherdy colored coat. He has the most beautiful eyes and pointy little nose! He is just an adorable mix of who-knows-what!! His brother Barney definitely looks more like a small hound/beagle mix. Andy is the more outgoing of the two, is full of personality and interested in everything going on around him. He is a bouncy, sweet, happy little guy! Andy is crate trained doing very well with his potty training. Andy was so excited when he found that there are toys in his foster home, he especially loves nylabones, or anything he can carry around with him. And he LOVES to play with and chase tennis balls! If you are interested in adopting Andy, please submit an application to www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms Adoption Donation $150.00 + $50.00 refundable altering deposit.
