Meet gorgeous Ginger! Ginger is a big girl-- believed to be part Maine Coone, part Norwegian Forest Cat. Because she has the classic Forest Cat double coat, she needs an owner who will be committed to grooming her on a regular basis. We still do not understand why Ginger's owners would surrender her to a high-kill shelter at 3 years of age: she's calm, healthy, loves to sit in your lap, uses her litter pan and gets along fine with other cats. She is still learning to adjust to dogs--but is calm in the presence of her foster mom's little dog. She is spayed, tested negative for FIV/Felv, up to date on shots, and litter box trained!
