Dixie came to us from a SC shelter where she patiently waited for a rescue to pull her.  She is a wonderful, happy, smiley girl!  She is a Labrador Retriever mix, around a year old, 50 lbs. and loves everybody and everything. Dixie is a very pretty girl, with beautiful eyes, a white stripe on her nose, and white on her chest and her two front feet. She loves her toys, especially a red Kong that she plays with and retrieves in the back yard.  She also loved to chase tennis balls and entertains herself with them by throwing them up in the air and then chasing them.  She is house trained, spayed, up-to-date on all of her vaccines, on heart worm and flea/tick preventative, is great on a leash and great with other dogs. Dixie loves to give kisses and is happiest napping beside you; she just wants to be your best friend!  If you are looking for a totally sweet, lovable companion, Dixie is the one for you; she is a perfect family dog.
