Miss Personality!! Kitty was adopted out when she was just a kitten, and unfortunately she was returned to DPR when her owner moved and was unable to take Kitty with her. 
Kitty has such a great personality and is as friendly as can be! She runs to greet you at the door when you get home, and then she tells you allll about her day.  She's a very chatty little girl and loves attention!  She is instantly friends with anyone who is willing to pet her.  She loves to play and gets along well with other cats too! 

Here is what her former mom said about her:

She is a very good girl who loves belly rubs, doesn't mind having her toes massaged and loves a good brushing. String is one of her favorite things to play with and she is excellent at alerting me to the occasional fly that may sneak into the house.   She sleeps next to me and, if I'm on my back, she'll climb up on me, "knead" me for a bit and then make herself comfy on my chest.  Sometimes, she will gently touch my face with her paw.  When I go outside, she sits by the storm door watching until I come back in.   

She is 3 years old and is a dilute calico/Maine Coon mix.  From what I've seen on the "Cats 101" show, I believe she could possibly be Turkish Van.  Apparently, they are very talkative and Kitty does verbalize when talked to.  I'll say to her Kitty, Kitty and she replies "meow, meow".  If you walk past her while she is chilling out on a chair, she'll roll on her back, meow and wants her belly rubbed.  Turkish Vans also like water, and while not jumping into a tub of water, she is fascinated with the water slightly dripping from the faucet.  

She eats Friskies canned food.  She eats one can a day (which I break up into 2 meals so it doesn't dry out on the plate).  I also keep a bowl of Purina One Tender Selects Blend with real salmon dry food filled for her at all times.  She definitely does not overeat, and is in every good shape.  She is very fast at running up and down stairs.
