Maxi & Murphy are a courtesy listing for Applebrook Inn Rescue. They are brother and sister who were rescued from a kennel in Kentucky. They wound up at the Kentucky rescue after they were saved from a fire elsewhere. Eventually they found a home - however, their owners moved after about a year and returned them to the Kentucky shelter. Now they are here in a foster home and looking for the forever home they deserve! We are estimating that they are between 2 and 4 years old. Maxi, the girl, is extremely outgoing and loves to lick. We call her the licker because she will kiss anyone, anytime. Her brother, Murphy, is a little more shy, but just as sweet. They love people and other animals and are housebroken. They get very attached to their "humans" and love to stick right by their side and sleep with them. They would do great with other animals or small children. However, they do need to be adopted together because they are very attached to one another - they do everything together.
