Meet Johnny and Roland! These BIG adorable brothers were adopted out as kittens, and just recently returned due to no fault of their own. Their owner moved in with his girlfriend, and the gilfriend's dog is not cat friendly. These poor guys lost the only home they have ever known and are now on the search for their forever home. They are such sweet cats who love to be pet! They get along really great with kids, and they actually spend every day doing virtual school with the first grader at their foster home. The class gets a kick out of them walking across the keyboard and sitting right in front of the monitor. They sure like attention! They are loving and quiet and low maintenance. Their short hair requires minimal grooming! They enjoy being pet and taking cat naps curled up with each other. They are super affectionate and will head butt you for attention and rub up against your legs. They enjoy cuddling on your lap as well. They would be happy being adopted as a pair or separately.

They are neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption
Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

      Adoption fee is: $100

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Adoptive families can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. All paperwork can be done online and adoption fees can be paid by Paypal. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
