Meet Marigold and Sunflower! These two girls were surrendered to DPR due to their owners allergies. They are super sweet and friendly guinea pigs who are about 2 years old. These two are best friends and are never apart! We have two Midwest cages set up for them, and as soon as one ventures into the other cage, the other one follows right behind! They eat together, nap together and explore together, so we are looking for a home where they can be adopted together! They squeal in excitement when they hear the bag of veggies crinkling and come running to the front of the cage to get their goodies. We have not found a fruit or veggie they don't love. They are used to being held and picked up, and are really great with the children in their foster home. They are calm and gentle piggies and will make a wonderful addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
