Meet Thin Mint, Caramel deLite and Peanut Butter Patty! These piggies can be adopted as a trio, as a pair, or as a single if you already have a guinea pig who is looking for a friend. Thin Mint and Caramel deLite are a mother/daughter pair. 

They are BIG chunky girls who are super sweet and love to eat!  They got a clean bill of health at their vet appointment and all the techs were gushing over how adorable and chubby they are – each one weighing in around 1300 grams! They were very agreeable for their manicure/pedicure too. They are very sweet guinea pigs who are happy to snuggle on your lap and watch TV with you. Mama Thin Mint is the black/white one and is the smallest and the most chill. Her daughter, Caramel deLite, is the caramel colored one and is the largest. Peanut Butter Patty has the rosettes or cowlicks – the crazy hair going in all directions. Their previous owner had bought 3 guinea pigs from the pet store and were told that all 3 of them were female – when in fact one was a male! As you can imagine, that quickly lead to multiple unwanted litters of guinea pigs, and DPR was asked to help find loving homes for 9 of them. We are taking them into our program as we have room – these are the first 3! They were very well cared for and loved in their previous home. Our vet has confirmed that these 3 are in fact all females and none are pregnant.

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
