Meet Jimmy John and Jersey Mike! These two adorable piggies are a father/son pair. You can certainly tell they're related since they both Abyssinian guinea pigs with tri-colored long hair and cowlicks. Dad, Jimmy John, has more orange, and Jersey Mike has more black. They were surrendered to DPR along 10 other guinea pigs due to unwanted breeding. All 4 boys are being housed together and they all get along great. They're all related to each other - Roy Rogers is Jimmy John's dad, and Burger King is Jimmy John's other son. We are hoping to adopt them out in pairs. They are very friendly and affectionate and enjoy being held. They would be a great choice for a family with children, since they have grown up with kids and are very comfortable being held and pet. They are larger boys - Jimmy John is the largest one at 1356 grams, and Jersey Mike is 1266 grams. 

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
