Meet Ferb! He and Phineas arrived at DPR when their owners could no longer care for them. He has a gorgeous coat and a nice personality to go along with his good looks! He is a big boy and enjoys being pet and held. He will happily curl up in your lap and watch a movie. He is wonderful with the kids at his foster home and is an all around very chill, friendly piggy! He gets so excited when he hears the bag of veggies rustling and squeals in anticipation! He is so easy-going, he doesn't even mind baths or grooming sessions. We took him to our vet because his eyes look a little different - our vet said his eyes are fine and he just has droopy eye lids, kind of like a bassett hound. We think it just makes him unique - a bassett guinea pig! He's a sweet guy and will make a great addition to your home!

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
