Meet Mona and Lisa! These two sisters are about 10 months old and are as sweet as can be! They are very small (especially compared to some of the huge boys at the rescue right now, they look like little babies in comparison!) Abyssinian guinea pigs are adorable little floofs, known for their hair which sticks up in every direction. The hair swirls are called rosettes. Mona is tri-colored, and Lisa is brown/orange. They have always lived together and are very bonded, so we are looking for a home who can welcome them both. They love when it's time for their daily salad of veggies and baked apple treats and squeak with excitement, running over to take the yummy food from your hands. They are a big fan of lying on their fluffy little bed. They keep their cage neat, and are just overall really amazing piggies! We love them and we know you will too!

 All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
